HISTORY
The 'Lie Down I Think I Love You’ brand, is designed by Emily and set up with her business partner Lisa, three years ago.

The team work out a ram-shackled basement of a Victorian bookbinder’s in London.

With Emily’s love of all things vintage and Lisa’s dislike of the ubiquitous ‘rip off’ the two girls formed a desire to create accessories that value longevity and beautiful design with a nostalgic element rather than a disposable fashion ‘moment’.

Each season a ‘make do and mend element’ is worked into the collection with the use of vintage silk scarves combined with quality leathers.

Sourcing leathers and fabrics from local British companies, and using local craftsmen they create a ‘made in London’ ethos that they feel is both important and are proud of.

The name ‘Lie down I think I Love you’ evolved from a peace saying found on a 1970’s folk button, helping to conjure up a nostalgic feeling of the 1967 summer of love  akin to the slogan ‘make love not war’!
